Crystal Shores West owners are required to register guests for which they are providing Short Term Rentals (STR's), as defined by Washoe County as any rental less than 28 days to anyone other than immediate family members or relatives. The Crystal Shores West Association requires any person or company acting on behalf of an owner to rent or manage rentals for their unit to register with the Association and pay a $50.00 annual fee. Registering with the Association does not absolve the owner or agent from permitting their STR with Washoe County.
